Lavish Locks Policies & Procedures
Scheduling Appointments:
It is best to schedule an appointment online at: lavishlockstampa.com This site is very detailed, and user friendly, it provides you with dates, services, stylists’ availability, description of services and pricing for all services and products, other than “Hair”. This will give you the flexibility of tailoring your own personal experience with the desired dates and times to work into your busy schedule. If you are unable to navigate the website for any reason, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Salon Manager Monday through Friday, from 9am until 5pm for assistance.
Confirmation Notifications:
As a courtesy, our scheduling system will also send out an email and or text (SMS) reminder of your appointment at least one day prior to your appointment. If we or our scheduling system are unable to call or reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and potential rescheduling fees.
Arrival to Lavish Locks:
If you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule. Of course, our technician will do their best to accommodate you, when possible. In order to ensure the best service and experience, we encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Consultation:
During your consultation, one of our professionals will explain the pros and cons to each of the methods we currently provide, what the proper maintenance is and the estimated services for maintenance and upkeep that can be expected. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision about which method is needed to meet your needs.
Forms of Payment:
We reserve the right to change prices and services at any time without notification. We accept all major credit cards, with a small service fee. The exact amount will be disclosed to you prior to running the card. We also accept Apple Pay (not Apple Cash)/Venmo/Zelle/ Lavish Locks Gift Cards and gift certificates, and cash.
Gift Card/Gift Certificates:
Gift cards and gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable, but they are transferable.
Gratuities:
As of 1/1/2024, we have included a 20% gratuity in all services. Your total will not include a gratuity on any retail items. Our guests are welcome to leave any additional gratuity if they desire.
Hair Additions:
Hair must be purchased prior to an appointment being scheduled. There will be no refunds on hair that has been opened. Hair still in its original package can be returned for salon credit. Lavish Locks is not responsible for hair color or texture chosen by the client. You must check the hair prior to opening as opened hair is not refundable or returnable. We are not responsible for hair purchased in or outside our salon. It is your responsibility to ask what the return policy is and that there is a minimum of 10%-15% restocking fee on unopened hair returned/exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Services do not include the cost of the hair. We ask that you come in with your natural hair washed and dried. We do offer Shampoo and Blow Dry for an additional charge of $65. We do not work over other people’s work. If you did not get your hair done at Lavish Locks we reserve the right to use our professional judgment as to any fixing, or adjusting.
Re-do:
Redo’s will consist of one of the following:
-Replacing pieces that came loose (must bring hair) -Tacking down corners
-Replace slipped beads (within 7 days)
(Note: Haircuts must be checked before leaving your appointment.)
We work as a team and have been trained in the same on Lavish Locks Hair Extension application methods. If you have a favorite stylist, you can request them at the time of scheduling your booking when you are online at Lavishlockstampa.com. If you are open to any stylist available, that choice is available as well.
It is our goal to exceed your customer service expectations. Make sure to check your hair before you leave. If for some reason you are not satisfied please address these concerns with your stylist and/or the manager on duty.
Lavish Locks is not responsible for sensitive scalps, abrasions, thinning, breakage, or balding due to hair replacement of extension applications. Chemical treatments have different effects on different hair types and colors. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to hold the salon and the hair technician harmless in the event of unexpected or undesired results. Any additional alterations or corrections will be provided at your expense. Previous treatments and chemical services can continue to have an effect on your natural hair. It is vital that you fully disclose any previous treatments to your stylist prior to the services.
Returns/Refunds/Cancellation:
Fading, sunscreen or harsh water damage is not cause for hair extensions to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Hair sales are not final until the purchased hair is prepped. Once the hair has been ordered and received, it is prepared for the application service by cutting the bonds, coloring, washing, or adding extra tape. After the hair is prepped, we can not send it back to the manufacturer. Regarding the nature of the “Urgency” to have a client’s new hair arrival, there can be unexpected delays due to stock availability, holidays, weekends, and shipping unpredictability in general. If the client changes their mind before the hair is prepped, we can possibly do a return with a minimum restocking fee of 10%-15% which covers our time and shipping costs. This can take up to 10 business days to be processed. Retail products may be returned or exchanged with an original receipt and original packaging within 14 days. We do not apply credit toward services for returned merchandise. There are no refunds on services. If you are unhappy with your service please ask for the manager on duty.
Toppers/Stock & or Custom Orders:
Lavish Locks will guarantee the performance of our topper for up to 3 months from the date the topper is applied to the client. If there is unusual shedding, discoloration, or defective workmanship. The hair piece must then be returned to the vendor. The hair will be replaced if it is determined to be defective, otherwise there could be charges for repair.
In the event of a return for repair or replacement due to defective issues, Lavish Locks is not liable for a replacement piece. It is encouraged that the client have at least 1 – 2 additional pieces to cover and protect themselves.
We recommend clients purchase 1 – 2 pieces per year, or more depending on color, lifestyle and home maintenance/care. The lifetime and dependability can vary slightly from one source to another.
Great Lengths & Hair Dreams do NOT allow their hair to leave the premises of Lavish Locks once we have received them, unless they have been applied to the clients head by our stylists.
Rescheduling Appointments:
We ask that you reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of the originally scheduled time, either by calling, texting, or requesting a reschedule on our website.
For clients that have to travel long distances to keep their appointment with Lavish Locks, either by flight reservations or driving. We recognize you have selected Lavish Locks as your, “Go-To Premier Women’s Salon” for your personal hair needs, and look forward to each visit with excitement and anticipation of fulfilling your “Hair Dreams”. We value and adore each client for making these choices, that is obviously why we are here making your dreams come true. There are occasions unfortunately that will and can disappoint that arrangement, as is life. In the event of necessary cancellations or closures or rescheduling appointments, ex: acts of God, weather, electrical outages, air-conditioning malfunctions, accidents, car troubles, product delays, flight schedules changing, illness or many other events that can interrupt our regularly scheduled hours and business standards, Lavish Locks maintains the highest integrity of prioritizing with
our professional team the ability to offer the client personal, individual options with respect to needing to reschedule the services directly and make an alternate plan available that best suits our client’s/staff’s needs. We appreciate your kindness and flexibility as well when these disappointing circumstances do arise.
Halo Rental:
Lavish Locks does carry Halocouture Halo’s for Sale and to Rent. The entire line is available for purchase, and we carry some in the Salon as samples to view. If a client is considering a purchase for themself, and really just wants to experience the concept hands-on, they are welcome to come into Lavish Locks, and one of our Staff will help assist them with additional information. Often, for a “Special Occasion or Event” a client will want to rent one for a few days or even prior to making their own purchase, we require a $150 Non-Refundable Deposit as the Rental Fee, with dates as well when they leave the salon with the Hair Piece. It will be rung as a Miscellaneous Item on our Square System by the Salon Manager and or Stylists.

Anniversary Sale: Annually in February, Lavish Locks offers an outstanding opportunity
to purchase everything we offer with a 20% discount. This includes all products, with the exception only of Bellami Hair Products, and services as well. This is to celebrate the Salon’s Anniversary with charm and elegance by sharing our success with our amazing clients.
All discounts are listed in our Square System and are applied at any time the client desires to use them with services or products. Complimentary Consultations: There currently is not a charge for a Complimentary Consultation, it does have to be scheduled on on calendar, on-line or through the Salon Manager. This can be changed at any time if management decides to add a charge.
